In a nutshell, The Jazz Line is a Jazz News/Reviews/Interviews/Videos website. Founded by students at universities across the UK and US in 2011, The Jazz Line has grown into a leading source of Jazz News, with an editorial output of original content that exceeds almost every other Jazz news website around. We are at the stage now where we’re looking expand even further, and we need your help to do it!

You… Probably… The Jazz Line is looking contributors from a diverse range of backgrounds who are looking to join our growing team and help spread the latest news about Jazz. If you’re smart and insanely passionate from Jazz, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Well… Maybe not Fame – But certainly exposure. The Jazz Line is a new news website and it’s growing fast! Writing for The Jazz Line is a great way to gain exposure to areas and industries you are interested in, and network with other writers and the movers and shakers on the Jazz scene.
Fortune
Well… Maybe not fortune either. Unfortunately we cannot provide monetary compensation at the moment, however we hope to change that in the future through syndication options and payments on a per-article basis. In the mean time, we’re sure that you’ll amass a wealth of happiness and pride in being able to share you stories and ideas with a great community of Jazz fans, and have your writing seen by thousands of people. Top performers will also be invited to join permanent roles on our Editorial team.

News:- This is the cornerstone of the website – Bringing frequent and concise Jazz updates to our visitors.
Features:- Longer pieces where you are free to talk about whatever you wish to talk about. Artist profiles, opinion pieces, your thoughts on the state of Jazz. Anything goes…
Reviews:- Reviewing the latest albums from all kinds of Jazz Musicians. From Sonny Rollins to the busker on the corner.
Interviews:- You will have the opportunity to conduct interviews on behalf of The Jazz Line.
We are always looking to expand our content offering, so if you would like to branch out into a new area we would be open to that as well!
